Jimmy Byaruhanga

Jimmy Byaruhanga is a distinguished Leadership and MSME Business Development expert with a vision of empowering micro small and medium enterprises. With over 20 years of experience in the sector, Jimmy has dedicated his career to enhancing the capacity and competitiveness of MSMEs in Uganda and across East and Central Africa. His expertise spans governance, human resources, leadership development, and strategic capacity building, making him a sought-after consultant and trainer. Jimmy holds multiple certifications as a Trainer of Trainers from prestigious institutions including the International Labour Organization (ILO), Bank of Uganda, International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the Academy of German Cooperatives (ADG).

His qualifications are further enriched by specialized training in project management, procurement, financial literacy, and climate change from globally recognized organizations such as the World Bank Institute and the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). One of his notable achievements include leading the GIZ-funded national ECOS project aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of 1,000 MSMEs in Uganda, showcasing his ability to lead large-scale projects with significant impact. He has successfully led and managed numerous donor-funded projects such as the EIB, EU, GIZ, and the World Bank. He has successfully conducted over 205 MMSME events, reaching more than 10,130 MMSMEs and refugees, offering training in business development, financial management, and entrepreneurship. His role as a strategic connector and his positive mental attitude have been instrumental in fostering sustainable growth and resilience among MMSMEs, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate and thrive in competitive markets.   His exposure spans across countries like Tanzania, Burundi, Kenya, Somalia, Rwanda, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and Mozambique.

Christine Ssenteza

Christine Ssenteza is a seasoned enterprise development expert with over 10 years’ regional experience in designing and conceptualizing enterprise developments, establishing implementation strategies and frameworks, monitoring implementation of such projects and in promoting results-based implementation and reporting.

She has worked with various funding and donor agencies that support enterprise development such as GIZ, EU and NORAD and liaised with several private sector players and industrial associations supporting enterprise development.

Her focus is on promoting female entrepreneurship and building the capacities for women-led enterprises. She has also worked extensively in promoting sustainable business operations through supporting the just transition to a green economy, while focusing on improving the quality of goods/ services, market access and supporting enterprises to access equitable and sustainable finance. Her regional experience spans across countries like South Sudan, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia

Edwin Muyomba

Business Development

Edwin Muyomba serves as the Projects and Business Development Specialist at Benth Global Consults Limited (BGCL). He brings over 15 years of extensive experience in management consultancy and MMSME development, underpinned by a robust academic background and a proven track record of success in the field.

Edwin holds a Master of Science in Project Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, equipping him with a strong theoretical and practical foundation to effectively manage and execute complex projects. His expertise spans a diverse range of sectors, including NGOs and the private sector, where he has demonstrated exceptional capability in driving growth and development initiatives.

Throughout his career, Edwin has successfully led and managed numerous donor-funded projects, working with prestigious organizations such as USAID, the European Union, and SIDA. His deep understanding of the requirements and expectations of international donors has enabled him to deliver projects that meet high standards of excellence and impact.
